Daydreamer’s Neverland

The adding and subtraction of fractions,

the unknown obvious distractions,

inside Mathematics classrooms.

Would helium filled balloons

fall or rise on the moon.

Popped on stars, popped and thrown

in the back of cop cars.

People in charge take charge

like demolition. One high

left to die like D.I.

for Daydreamer’s Intervention.

Thank you for your wise decision

in coming back. Roundabouts

on High School track.

Folded lips form whistles

and faint whispers.

Slighted respect through,

bent misses and misters.

Missed attractions, and talk but no action,

searches for short lived satisfaction.

Broken dreams rest on chimneys

where they fell as we

slowly floated upwards

and got lost in meaningless words.
